Join APHA members and the public health community for the associations National Public Health Week Kickoff: Kickoff Forum - Public health in the age of deception: Confronting the misinformation crisis When misinformation spreads as fast as a virus, public health must respond quickly. False and misleading information is eroding trust in public health, widening inequities and undermining prevention efforts. APHA‘s National Public Health Week Forum will dig into what’s driving the problem of misinformation — and what we can do about it.

Public Health Day will be held April 7 from noon–2 p.m. in Wooster Celebration Hall. This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Terry Hoffmann, an SDSU graduate, Army veteran, and Associate Chief of Pharmacy at the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System. His background in frontline military service and pharmacy leadership offers a powerful perspective on veteran health and mental wellness. Lunch will be provided.
